  • Academic Information: Engineering Branch (e.g., Civil, Electrical, Mechanical).
  • Usage Data: Test scores, time taken per question, exam history, and interaction with our platform to generate analytics.
  • Technical Data: Device identifiers (via LocalStorage), IP address, browser type, and operating system.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect for the following purposes:

  • To create and manage your secure user account.
  • To generate personalized mock tests, compute State Ranks, and display Global Leaderboards.
  • To provide detailed performance analytics and pinpoint your weak subjects.
  • To send critical exam updates, OTPs for secure login, or waitlist notifications.
  • To prevent cheating (Anti-Cheat Engine) and ensure fair leaderboard rankings.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

JEnAstra does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share data only under these circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We use Google Firebase for secure authentication (Google Sign-In, Phone OTP) and database hosting. Firebase handles your data according to Google's rigorous security standards.
  • Legal Compliance: If required by law, we may disclose your data in response to lawful requests by public authorities or to protect our legal rights.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is securely stored on Google Firebase servers. While no internet transmission is 100% secure, we implement strict authentication protocols and data encryption to protect your information against unauthorized access.

5. Leaderboard Privacy

To foster a competitive environment, your First Name and Test Score will be publicly visible on the JEnAstra Leaderboard. If you wish to remain anonymous, you may contact support to change your display name.
